Do you think people are comparing how the US is handling NK to how the US handled Iraq? If so, do you think that is a wise decision?

I think the uninformed masses are probably doing so, yeah. However, I think it is an enormous mistake. As you know, I have felt for a long time that North Korea poses a far, far greater threat to the US than Iraq ever did. That leads me to think that Iraq was more about oil than the government will ever let on, but our handling of North Korea right now worries me.

The world needs to take strong action against NK, and very strong sanctions, and the US should accept no less, regardless of what China or Russia say. NK needs to be used as an example to the rest of the world (read: Iran) that if you mess around like that against the will of the rest of the world, you will pay the consequences.

To me iraq was about passifying zionist circles in the american and british governments, oil and the genuine humanitarian fact that he kept slaughtering people. And despite it sounding very anti-semite, which I'm not, its hard to deny how much israel gained from iraq being wiped out.

I completely agree with this. Based on that, I hope the US handles what is said to the American people so they do not compare the situation with Iraq.

I think it was more than oil that we went to Iraq for. In the Civil War, for example, the main conflict was the differing economies in the north and south and not slavery.

I think the biggest thing people forget in the war of liberating Iraq is 9/11. The dictatorship in Iraq was providing aid to terrorists that enabled them to attack America. How can you sit by and watch 4,000 people die and not go after the cause of the problem?

While I agree that it was good to end the dictatorship in Iraq (though perhaps not the US's place), often people forget that they did not link Iraq to the terrorist attacks on 9/11. If they were to go after the actual cause of the problem, Osama should have been arrested. Seems like misdirection, people do not even question where bin Laden is anymore.
