Today I added a new style and code that differentiates the look of posts made by yourself versus posts made by other members. This should help users quickly identify their own comments.
Here are some other features in the plans that I am working to be implemented soon:
-- Time zone preferences, including a DST identifier (DST will probably have to be manually changed by the user).
-- Various images, including standard forum images designating when new posts have been made in a thread since your last visit
-- Additional style for new posts in a thread so users can quickly identify which posts in a thread they have not read yet.
-- Collapsible comments, and corresponding user configuration to designate the threshold of when to hide or show comments by default.
-- Add a CSS style to all the text boxes/text areas/dropdown menus on the site.
-- Post editing (still debating this one)
-- A preview page for viewing comments before you actually post them.
